Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Mike and I've loved animals since I was old enough to toddle after them. I have years of experience with dogs, cats, and critters of all shapes and sizes. I helped care for my family dog, Caesar, from the time he was a puppy all the way through to the end of his life at 15 years of age. I have experience volunteering in shelters and assisting in a vet clinic and am comfortable caring and grooming for dogs of all ages and personalities. I have experience caring for dogs with physical impairments as well, particularly joint and hip issues. I've never met a dog I wasn't fast friends with and recognize that every animal has their own needs to be met. By allowing me to care for your furry friend I realize you are putting a lot of trust in me to treat them as I would my own and I strive to be uphold that and keep them as happy and comfortable as can be.

Michael was referred to me by another person on Rover and I couldn’t be more grateful. He is very attentive and communicative, and my cat seem to warm up to him in no time. He not only makes sure that my cat has all of his basic needs, but even lets me know if there are additional concerns or updates that might be important to know. I really appreciate how much he takes care of my cat while I’m away and I would recommend him to anyone!
Michael was great with our 2.5 yo lab who can be a bit of a handful sometimes. He was very responsive and sent lots of pictures to keep us updated. We would certainly leave her in Michael's hands when/if we leave again!

He is extremely responsible, reliable, and honest. I was upset when he relocated to Philadelphia as I have not been able to replace him!

A typical day
I would love to take your dog for active walks if they're a high energy, active pooch and there are many dog parks in the Philadelphia area where toys can be thrown and fun can be had. If they need a bit more of a slow paced approach we can stroll the streets at a gentle pace and stop and sniff all the city has to offer.
