UWS Dog Dad!

Pet care experience

I absolutely love dogs and have grown up with them and taken care of them for 20+ years. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds including Australian Shepherds, Yorkies, Labs, Great Danes, Aussaliers, Pugs, Golden Doodles, and many more. Caring for dogs aligns perfectly with my lifestyle and hobbies. I have a full time job in tech and work remotely from home here in the UWS. I am a very active person, and also teach group fitness. I am an old soul at heart and love early mornings and bedtimes. I am at my happiest when I am outside, getting exercise and enjoying fresh air alongside a pup. Nothing brings me more joy than going for slow walks or long runs with a dog - I am up for absolutely anything. Overnight stays are ideal for me - particularly since I have the flexibility of working from home and taking breaks during the day. I would love nothing more than to care for your pup. I look forward to hearing from you and learning how I can best support you and your dog!

Michael was excellent with my dog Harry! He came over and met us before and bonded instantly. I expect we will be having Michael sit for Harry regularly going forward.

Michael was great with our two pups! He sent us regular updates and was incredibly respectful of our home. He definitely went above and beyond and we'd recommend him and use him again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I have a very high energy puppy. I during slow seasons work from home so it is not an issue, but during busy seasons, Diego, our rescue puppy is locked up for the day. Michael is great because he works with our schedule, he is flexible. Besides dealing with the changing of our schedules he is extremely good with Diego, and can keep up with his high energy needs! If you are looking for someone to help with dog walking or dog sitting I highly recommend Michael.

I met Michael through my friend Amanda, she had referred him to me several months ago. Michael is by far my top choice for pet sitting and dog walking. I have an older pug, and sometimes have to travel overseas. Michael is the only person I trust with my pug, and I know no matter what happens while I am away Michael will make sure my dog has the best time and is well taken care of. He also is great with older dogs and making sure they go out and get the assistance they need. He is the best!

My number one priority will be to continue your pet's current routine in their home so that they feel completely loved, safe, and taken care of while you are away. I will make sure they are getting constant love and attention when they are with me, and will be sure to send lots of photo updates during the stay.

Information Michael T. would like to know about your pet

I would love to know all about your dogs routine, what make them happy or anxious, and any quirks they may have, whether that is at home or on the leash. I would also like to know how they act around other people and animals to make sure that we have a safe walk every time we go outside.

A typical day

When I am watching a dog, I love to take them on a walk first thing when we wake up so that they can go to the bathroom. I will then typically feed them breakfast and take them on a longer walk afterwards, to either Central Park or Riverside Park. There are multiple great dog parks near by I can take them to as well, if that is something your pup loves to do. During the day I will take them on as many potty breaks as they needs, and make sure their water bowl is filled. I will give them snacks if that is something you allow. After dinner time, I typically take the pup on another long walk to either park, so that they are able to wind down and get ready for bed when we get home. I'll usually do one last potty break before bedtime so that they can comfortably make it through the night.

I work remotely and have a lot of autonomy with my work schedule. I am an early riser and extremely active, so I would love nothing more than to learn all about your dog's routine and what would make them happiest when I am staying with them.
