I have owned dogs all my life from small dogs (Daschund) to large dogs (Great Danes). This includes 8 different breeds and more than a dozen dogs. I can’t imagine life without at least one dog around. My wife is also a lifelong dog lover. We’ve owned the majority of our dogs as puppies, including one as a rescue. I am also retired (performing arts exec) and an exhibiting fine artist so my schedule is my own and very flexible. We currently own two English Cream Golden Retrievers; very affectionate dogs, so we may also be interested in keeping dogs in our home overnight, or at least trying it out. When I came across this opportunity to earn some extra income, it seemed like the perfect fit; something more than a “job.” I have no preferences concerning breeds or sizes of dogs. I would like to know some basics about the dogs I walk, things like anything that frightens them like large trucks, whether a dog is aggressive toward other dogs or people, whether a dog pulls excessively during walks, how a dog reacts to a stranger entering their home, or any other information that might be helpful in interacting with the dog.
