We're on our 2nd Ridgeback and we love the breed so much. Having written that, we love all breeds. We've had everything from Italian Greyhounds to Wolf hybrids. We live next to Vasa Park and have a large fenced-in backyard with access to a private Lake Sammamish beach where we can bring your dog to run and play. The beach is fully fenced and we'd only bring your dog there if you approve prior to boarding. Having had 5 dogs since 1996, we've seen it all. We're aware of signs that a dog, or any pet, may be in distress and our own vet is right down the road from us. We're both working from home and we'll ensure your pet gets all of the potty breaks he/she needs. Our dog is a loving Rhodesian Ridgeback and she loves all dogs. Charlie has been going to dog parks since she was 12 weeks old. Her best friend is a service dog for one of our neighbors and therefore understands when other dogs might just want to sleep or be left alone. :) We understand your dog is indeed part of your family. We'll safeguard and watch your dog like our own. We're very communicative and expect many photos throughout the day. We'll also provide access to certain cameras in our home and in the backyard to check-in if you'd like. We're both professionals and as part of our process, we'll first meet with you and your dog and we'll walk through our property, the yard, the beach, answer any and all of your questions. Your dog will be treated like our own. This I promise. If you're concerned about the children in our house, I understand, but please let me alleviate those appropriate concerns. We have a 10 and 11 year old. The two of them have lived in a house, since infancy, with both small and very large dogs (120lb dog). They are confident and yet understand that a dog - is an animal. Our children will never feed your pet. Our children will never be alone with your pet. What your dog will receive from our children at times: some aweomse petting and awesome play time in our backyard and at our beach (if you approve of taking your dog to our beach of course). We only board one dog at a time. We will consider multiple dogs if and only if those two dogs are from the same Rover client. We'll be here and there will be consistent outdoor breaks, walks, and even beach time if you're open to that. We have a fenced in yard that is cleaned of dog waste everday. Your dog will be provided the same loving access to our furniture (if that is what you'd like) as our own dog.
