I've worked as a volunteer for the Humane Society but have never had a dog full-time although I've had cats and done fostering for different organizations. I may be going overseas shortly so it isn't yet a good time to own one but having one in the house is always a blast. I love their company and energy and being semi-retired have quite a bit of play time to offer. I'm healing from a broken heel and am able to do decent walking but soon will be able to run with them again. I have a larger condo with decent sized fenced in patio and lawns abound outside the gate. Plus I love taking dogs to places around town in my pickup and they seem to love it too!
