Pet care experience
*** Fully vaccinated (2x) *** and booster.*** Yes, I was that kid in the neighborhood that everyone hired to care for their dogs and cats while they went on vacation. From toy poodles up to the dobermans and then some to walking and caring for our family basset hound (and her one time litter), a mynah and 2 chameleons. As I got older I was able to complete my Vet Tech Cert just before graduating high school. Though I did not become by profession a tech, it was useful and provided lots of hands on experience which helped me with my own dogs later, other people's dogs and my recently late dog that was a borderline special needs little rescue girl. (She's the one in my profile picture.) When people entrust me with their canine companions, they know their dogs are in good hands, that I follow through on instructions, and when I house sit, I engage the dogs throughout the time to let them know, though you are away, everything is okay.

When my sometimes hectic schedule kept me from walking my dogs, Michael made sure they did not miss out. Michael took wonderful care of them. He gave them his undivided attention. He is very mellow and calm and had the utmost patience with one of my very stubborn little ones. He loves animals and I would and have recommended Michael because he genuinely cares.

I am very careful with those dogs in my care. During the first few walks I do a lot of observation to get a better understanding of your dogs' personalities and their state of health. At times, I recommend to owners items such as harnesses as well as may site issues ranging from behavior to issues with their relieving themselves. Everything matters when it comes to a safe and happy dog.

I always hope owners relay to me the usual stats of the dog, any issues and preferred activities. Any additional information is welcome and helps me make the time together a good experience for your dog.
A typical day
While it is nice to be creative, it has to be built on the dog's typical experiences. If activities are in order, I'll take my cue from the owner of what types of activities are best for their dog. Fetch, running through multiple commands down, sit, come and other commands that may be engaged as a game with rewards.

Availability
Normally, I walk dogs after the heat of the day which means after 2:30pm or later. Special cases may be walked in the morning. Happy to walk dogs on a regular schedule or if you need a quick emergency walker (as time permits).
