I've had dogs since I was five. As an adult, I've had my own dogs for the last five years. I've taken care of the pets for plenty of relatives, friends, and neighbors over the years--cats and dogs as small as Norwich Terriers all the way up to Bullmastiffs.

I'd love to know how your dog interacts with other dogs, if your dog has any special needs, preferences, or habits. For example: my dog Joey walk on my left; my pup Lucy has a tendency to eat trash on the sidewalk while walking, please keep an eye on her; Millie is great with dogs her size, but she tends to bark at any dog larger than 40 pounds.
A typical day
My dog Joey and I love long walks. We get a lot of steps on Page and Clay (two fantastic slow streets), Golden Gate Park, Duboce Park, Alamo Square, Alta Plaza, Buena Vista Park, and the Presidio.

I'm a SF public school teacher on summer break; I've got lots of free time. I walk my dog, Joey--a very sweet six-year old adopted Aussie mutt--for hours and hours each day so dog walking is already in my daily routine.
