Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Mike! I’ve managed dog daycares and boarding facilities since 2012, and have been actively involved with a Boston Rescue organization, Last Hope K9, since 2012. My wife has worked at MSPCA Angell since 2016, and we have both dedicated our lives to animal care. Between the two of us we have more than a decade’s worth of professional experience and have taken care of thousands of dogs, cats, birds, and any other household pet that you can name! I have experience, and success, with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personality types – even those pets that “don’t like males” tend to quickly bond with me. I prefer to take one dog at a time so that I can offer them my undivided attention, and ensure that they are receiving the best care possible. I live in a very animal friendly community in Union Point, where they have everything from wooded trails to dog parks. I’m excited to be a part of the Rover community and to continue improving the lives of all of the animals that I cross paths with. I can’t wait to meet your dog!

Michael was amazing. Michael made me feel so comfortable! I have a puppy and never left him before so I was so nervous. I got daily updates and Michael took him to dog parks and introduced my pup to other dogs.
Mike is hands down my number one choice when we need a dog-sitter, walker, or someone to watch over our puppy. We are total helicopter parents, and I never worry when our Corgi is with Mike! He has a great time, is well exercised, and I know he’s getting to spend time with someone who truly wants to spend time with him too. Anyone can let your dog out for a bathroom break during the day, but why not work with someone your pet will love, and who you will too! Cannot recommend Mike enough!!!!
Kids loves dogs. Works with them just about every day. Dogs are like 90% of the kid's snaps, so that's a good thing, right? Bottom line, Mike is more than qualified for this.
I foster for a rescue in Boston, and Michael was the manager at a dog daycare that I would leave them at during the day. He was always fantastic with them regardless of their personality types, level of training, or age and all of them absolutely adored him. With my being new to the foster world, he provided me with endless, invaluable advice to help keep me sane at home, and I certainly would have been lost without him. If you're looking for somebody with a ton of experience, and who loves dogs more than most anything else in the world, Michael is definitely your guy!

Some key points I would like to know about are how they walk on leash, if they have any preferences for types of outside areas, and how they interact with other animals, specifically cats and other dogs. Additionally, if there are any trainings that you have been working on that you would like reinforced in a particular way.
A typical day
I’m active and will take your dog around the area. There are dog parks here as well if you’d want your dog to go. However, I’ll never bring your dog to one without your permission or recommendation.
