I have use a service dog, and can't just trust anyone to help me with him. When using a service dog, I'm eligible to have certified handlers to work with my dog when I have a situation that I can't take the with me. For example, if I have a meeting and someone is uncomfortable with the presence of the dog and I don't want to upset that person further or if I need to use the rest room. Michael is my go to person for help with my service animal. My dog is dual trained for therapy and Michael frequently goes with me to take control of my service dog in therapy mode to get the best results for the community where the dog is working. Michael is a quick learner, and follows my instructions exactly. He also asks for clarification when confused. I met Michael last year, on my campus where he was employed as a student assistant in my media lab area. He is very responsible and takes great initiative. As a service dog owner, I have a lot at stake when I leave my dog with anyone whether it is just for a few minutes or several days, so I'm very careful about who I leave him with. I believe that Michael will be a great addition to the Rover team and will do a great job supporting other dog owners with their needs.

Michael is caring and gentle with all creatures! He loves dogs and will always do right by these sweet pets and their families. He is responsible, trustworthy, and the perfect person to look after your fur babies!
