For over 30 years, my home has been filled with a variety of dogs. While we had a various types of dogs and cats in our home, one thing remained the same: they were (and still are family). I can honestly say, that is one that still remains a constant for me and my family. It is this connection and bond that I have had with all types of dogs that reinforces this calling to work with them and be around them any chance I get. With me, all dogs are treated like family. While I do have 2 dogs of my own, I would only allow any dogs that I am caring for to interact with mine if they are all showing no signs of aggression and as long as their owner is comfortable with allowing them to play together. I would honestly prefer a meeting at a dog park to ensure that this was the case.
