Hello, our Names are Mike and Melinda and we love dogs! We live on a 5 acre fenced farm with lots of room for your dog to run, play and explore. We have a very friendly 3 year old fixed black lab who gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. Mike works from home and is generally there all day. We love to take family walks around our property or at Bald Peak State Park just up the road. We have 20 plus years experience caring for dogs, and will do our best to accommodate any of your pets individual needs. We would love to welcome your dog to our home and shower them attention and love while you are away. Cowboy loved his stay with Michael and Melinda...it was like he was on a vacation of his own while I was out of town. I got daily pictures and Cowboy stayed active and happy
Millie had a great stay and loved all the room to roam around. The area was well maintained and fenced. She loved following Michael around doing chores around the farm and playing with Michael's dog, Avett. We were not from the Newberg area, but would definitely use when we visit the area again and bring Millie.
I couldn't be happier. My two shepherds received excellent care while I had major surgery. Thrilled my dogs had the best treatment in a beautiful secure country surrounding. They reveled in the clean mountain air and enjoyed meeting the sheep and goats and fowl on the property. My very timid/shy/growly one owner type dog warmed up very nicely to Michael and got along great. Michael is a excellent communicator as well as photographer and I received several nice photos + movie clip. The dogs seemed to have the best vacation ever and appeared super alert and outdoorsy when Michael returned them to my home. It was a huge relief knowing they were receiving the best treatment during a difficult time.
The stay with Michael D. was a wonderful experience for Snowy and Flurry. They had a howling good time, got plenty of supervised exercise and loving cuddle time too! Five Stars!
