I have been doing Rover and Wag! for the past few years in Chicago and have experience with all types of dogs, personalities and breeds. I recently moved to the western suburbs and looking to start house sitting in my home. I enjoy energetic dogs, but will be able to care for whatever kind of dog you have.

Michael is the best. I left my Pit Bull mix with Michael for a week and this was the first time my dog has ever been anywhere away for me for that period of time since I got her 3 1/2 years ago. He took great care of her, sent updates and pictures and I felt so comfortable leaving her with him. Michael was so kind and gave me such wonderful feedback about my dog and now I can honestly say that I am so happy I found somebody that I trust and that I know my dog loves I highly recommend Michael. You can tell that he definitely loves animals.
Michael was an outstanding sitter. He took great care of our dog and made us confident the dog was in good hands while we were away. Michael was also super responsive in communications and provided appropriate updates on how things were going. On top of it all, he left our home in pristine condition. Could not ask for much more!
We needed a sitter in a hurry the night before my daughter's wedding. We were at a hotel and realised our puppy could not be there alone without barking the whole time. We chose to use rover for the 1st time and Michael answered within 30 minutes of putting in an appointment for them. He was really good with our 2 dogs and gave us updates every 2 hours. He sent us messages and pictures, as well We will hire rover in the future. It was a wonderful experience!!
Michael was amazing with our cat! She was really calm upon our return and seemed full of love and play so she was not angry or in our faces constantly like she tends to be after a vacation. He checked in and was great about sending photos. Would highly recommend!

A typical day
We will go for walks around my place. I will stay away from dog parks, unless instructed by the owner. I will be up for doing most things the dog likes to do.

Availability
I currently go into the office one day a week, but between my girlfriend and I there will always be someone at the house to look out for your dog. I will take your dog on at least one long walk per day, as long as they are healthy enough to go on a long walk.
