Hi! My wife and I have lived with dogs all of our lives, taking care of puppies, adult, and senior dogs. Our old girl recently passed away, so we look forward to hosting dogs in our home, caring for and loving them like they are our own. Prior to adopting our beloved dog Minerva, we spent time volunteering at the city shelter in Baltimore, walking and caring for dogs. I also spent time working in a boarding kennel in high school so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs who are away from their home and families. Recently, we’ve started watching our friends’ dogs in our home while they travel, and realized we would enjoy doing this on a more regular basis. While our children are young, they have both grown up around dogs and are very gentle and respectful of them! We do not allow our children anywhere near dogs when they are eating. We have two girls ages 3 and 1, dogs MUST be comfortable with small children to stay with us. For stays 3 nights or longer, we will want to do a trial overnight stay to make sure it is a good fit for your dog(s) and our family!
