Pet care experience
I walked dogs in Boston for five years, working for a small company. Recently moved to Portland. I would love to explore the city with your dog! I have walked small, big, military-trained, special needs, geriatrics, puppies, all kinds. I can handle just about any dog and any behavior, and I'm very protective of the dogs I take care of. I have walked about 100 different dogs, and have dealt with scores of clients. I understand that sometimes being out and about can be worrisome to the owner of the dog, and I want the client rest assured that I would never let anything happen to their dog. Originally from upstate New York, went to school for music education. Lived in Boston for 5 years, while I was there I walked dogs by day and worked in restaurants by night. As a musician, I played tuba for a ballet company, electric bass for an American Idol 3rd round finalist, and recorded an indie album with some musicians from the Berklee School of music.

Don’t hesitate for a moment, ask Mike to take care for your four legged one! Mike was Emily’s dog walker for 4 1/2 years and we miss him very much. He is kind, very positive, dependable and above all will treat your pet with love and with what makes them happy. I was often home when Mike would pick up Emily and the greeting he would get spoke volumes (to this day I never receive the greetings he did!!!)
Michael walked my pup Nala every week day for over two years. He was absolutely fantastic with her - really understood her personality and always treated her great. She obviously looked forward to every walk with him, so much so that I came to jokingly call him “Uncle Mike”. He was also very reliable in showing up every day on time, and contacted me immediately if Nala had any issues on the walks (like abnormal stool, vomiting or other potential health issues). I was very sad to lose Michael when he moved away from Boston. I highly recommend him!
Michael walked for my company for over five years. He was my first employee and helped me to grow my business to where it is today. He knew all of the dogs and their peoples. They all loved him. He and I went through the sad times of loosing a beloved pup to the exciting times of meeting new ones. He is extremely trustworthy and caring. Anyone will be very lucky to have them take care of their pets.
