Pet care experience
I have worked as an Animal Care Technician for the the past 4 years while completing my degree in Animal Science. I have taken care of dogs since I in middle to expose myself to field. This included walking my families, friends and neighbors dogs as well as pet sitting. They also relied on me for tasks such as giving medications, bathing their furry friends and getting them that extra exercise in the park.

Michael was great! I appreciated her willingness to do a drop-by visit before her first time taking care of Nairóbi, and she did everything just as we requested. I also appreciated her sending photos during her apartment visit. I highly recommend Michael, and I plan to request for her to care for Nairóbi again in the future!
I am a Rover sitter myself. I would not hesitate to hire Michael again as my own sitter or recommend her to my clients during times I can’t sit for them. She spends extra time with your pet can get them to take meds and loves your pet as her own.
Michael was amazing! She was very kind and caring with my dog Remi. She made sure he was well taken care of during the week and kept me updated each day. She also went above and beyond when I had an issue at my apartment, and made sure everything was taken care of. I would highly recommend Michael!

I live near multiple hiking paths to ensure your pup is getting a good work out as well as fenced in parks to go and play. I can easily crate a dog and work with multiple dogs at once.

Some good things to know about your pup ahead of time include any triggers for aggression or stress (food, crates etc.), any medicine that needs to be administered that day, or the length of walk preferred as some dogs enjoy longer or shorter walks than others :)
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We'll play a bunch of games, check out all the new smells in my neighborhood, and explore a big park near my house.

Availability
I am currently a full time vet student at Purdue however this summer I will an intern for the Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute. My hours will be from 7:00am-3:00pm. I would be more than happy to take care of you pet(s) before and after class and am most likely available on weekends. Please reach out if you have further questions!
