I've always loved all animals ever since I was a kid and I've owned an array of them myself! Just to give an idea of what I'm talking about: I've raised dogs, cats, rodents (guinea pigs, hamsters, squirrels, gerbils, rabbits), reptiles (turtles, snakes, geckos, bearded dragons), birds (chickens and ducks), as well as several freshwater fish. My uncle was the owner of a local pet store when I was young and I believe that's what sparked a passion for pets so early on. As for pet sitting, I started a few years back for a friends parents whenever they would travel for vacation or work. They had a few animals that each required different needs such as medicines, precise feeding procedures, and regularly scheduled walks. After the first few times of my pet-sitting, I became a regular house sitter for them whenever they would travel! I still continue to do so whenever they ask which has given me an amazing bond with their animals over the years.
