Pet care experience
I’ve always grew up with pets including cats, dogs, and reptiles. I have been pet sitting on my own for about 4 years now and I love spending time with pets outdoors to keep them and myself active and healthy! Most of the pets I have dog sat for, along with the dogs at my house, have a fence at the house, physical or electric, that is used to contain the dogs outside. Some pets I have walked including small and large breeds.

I was able to relax on vacation knowing my animals were taken care of with Micayla! Our dog can be a little weird meeting ppl at first and she handle it like a pro doing 2 meet and greets before she watched him. We have a St. Bernard who can be a lot to handle with two cats and she took very good care of all them. We got daily pictures and updates and I never once worried if my animals were okay. Thanks again Micayla and definitely will be using her again in the future!
Micayla did a wonderful job sitting for our 2 dogs and cat for 5 days. We would highly recommend her. She is very responsible and cared for our guys as if they were her own. We appreciated the pictures she sent us daily.

I will do whatever you usually do at your house to keep your pet safe and on schedule. Whether that is using fences, leashes, and crates. Any specific schedule your pet has, I will try my best to work into my schedule and keep you and you pet happy.

Before working with your pet, knowing the size and activity level is important because I am shorter and want to be prepared to take on some larger love. Any health concerns including medications needed throughout the day is important to know along with how much, how often, and best ways to administer. Also knowing fun facts about your pet will help make me and them more comfortable including their favorite toys, games, and treats, pet friends, and if they they are a big cuddler!
A typical day
I love to run and play outside to keep me and pets active. I love to play fetch and hide and seek with their toys. I would love to walk around different places every walk to keep the dog interested and not bored on the walks. On rainy days when long play time outside is maybe not the best idea, dog kind games and house friendly toys is a great idea I would love to participate in.

Availability
I am currently a college student at Delaware Tech, Dover campus. My classes are Monday-Friday. Most of my classes are online this year as well, but some days I am in person either all day or half day in Dover. Dog sitting weekends is the best plan for me and check ins and walks through out the week. I am open to discussing plans with anyone that will work with both our schedules. I am not working any other jobs throughout school. I live in the Milford Harrington area and go to school and Dover and would like to keep my options between those two areas but please contact me if outside of that area and I may be able to work with you!
