I have had pets all of my life. Our family dog, who was my first child, lived for 14 years with us. My girls and I began dog sitting over a year ago and we love it. We homeschool, so we are generally at home with the dogs. We go about our school and chores while catching dog cuddles and giving belly rubs throughout the day. I am frequently heard to say, "Finish your math, and you can walk the dog." My girls, who are 12 and 13, share the pet care responsibilities and we all get to "love" on the dogs! It has been a blessing for our family. Note: Drop in care and housesitting/dog care is only available for Hickam residents.
