Pet care experience
I’ve always had a special connection to animals. I’ve taken care of my own pets and friends pets whenever the opportunity arose. Dogs, Cats, reptiles, chickens, ducks, even freshwater fish are within my realm of experience. I am a trustworthy individual, people have trusted their children’s lives with me on the open sea as a head sailing instructor, and now they trust me with their fur babies.

It was wonderful having Mia stay in our home to take care of our Hazey girl! We felt at ease having her there to take care of everything. Mia is kind, caring, patient, reliable and responsive. Loved being in touch while we were away!
Mia was terrific. Both of my pets were safe and happy. She kept the house very clean ! She sent pictures and kept in touch with texts throughout her stay.

I work very well when I am aware of your routine with your pets. I like to accommodate to the animal’s needs almost identically the same as their human so they don’t feel stressed. I am familiar with oral medicine and pets who take it fairly easily.
Information Mia T. would like to know about your pet
When I am getting to know a dog and their family I like to know about any behavioral issues they have. This is for their safety. I once was watching a dog who’s family forgot to mention he likes to jump and attack car tires. When I took him for a walk the dog did as he always had and nearly got himself seriously hurt or worse killed. Luckily I’m stronger than I look and have quick reflexes and pulled the dog to safety before he got hit. I will still take on dogs if they have behavior issues, but PLEASE WARN ME ABOUT THEM.
A typical day
When I am playing with a dog or cat Iove to give lots of pets and tell them how good they are. If your animal is very active and needs to be tired out I like to play fetch, tug, or even just plain run around together. Sometimes I like to break out the laser pointer for mainly cats but some dogs too. I like to walk the dogs normal route, I don’t like to break routine, unless they want to. If you frequently go to anywhere special with your dog that’s a safe spot I am more than willing to take them there so they aren’t changing their normal daily life.

Availability
As of right now I currently am going to school Monday-Wednesday. I would treat your home as my own and after class I would come back to your place to provide care for your pet. Usually the only time I leave the house is for class and for food. Pet care is currently my only job!
