Pet care experience
I love animals more than I love people. I’ve had a lot of experience with sick animals, dogs in particular. I had a german shepard with Lupus and high anxiety who I helped care for for 12 years. I know leaving a dog with high anxiety can be difficult for both the owner and the dog but I will always try to make your pet the happiest I can during your absence. I have experience with dogs, cats, geckos, chinchillas, hedgehogs, cockatoos, turtles, tortoises, fish, frogs, hamsters, and snakes. I also understand some pets aren’t the friendliest towards strangers but I’m always willing to come multiple times before hand to get them acclimated to me.

I can always count on Mia! She is so good with my dog, Ellie, especially since she is a timid rescue who doesn’t always take well to new people. My dog loves Mia and she does a great job keeping me updated!
Mia is the best! We always feel good knowing she’s taking care of our kitties when we go out of town. She communicates clearly, follows our sometimes complicated care instructions, and sends cute pics.

I do my best keep an eye on your pet while they are under my care, even if you say they can go outside alone, I prefer to be with them to make sure nothing goes wrong. I try to never leave your pet unattended during my time with them!

A typical day
I will do whatever you say they love best! If they want me to run around and play with toys I will, if they want me to lay on the ground and pet them till they fall asleep I will.

Availability
I currently go to college so it’s possible some of my classes may get on the way if you need someone during weekdays at a specific time. I will not be in town for most college breaks! FOR HOUSE SITTING OVERNIGHT: I do not do house sitting unless I can bring my own dog as well. He is by no means aggressive, but he doesn’t like other dogs much. If your pet is uninterested in other dogs then I’d be more than happy to house sit. He does great with senior dogs because senior dogs have been around the block and don’t have much of an interest pushing other dogs boundaries anymore.
