Pet care experience
My family is very active in animal rescue and as a result, I’ve taken care of a variety of different kinds of animals starting at about 8 years old. My family always had foster dogs with many different personalities and quirks. I learned to properly bathe, walk, and feed them as well as recognize when they are in distress or uncomfortable. Neighbors have also entrusted me with their dogs and cats for the last few years when they’ve had to go out of town. I have experience with all different types and sizes of animals such as dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and fish, but most of my experience is with medium to larger dogs. Pomeranians to Pit bulls!

I take many precautions when leaving the safety of your home, whether going on walks or getting your pet into the car to take to the vet. I do everything I can to make sure your animal will be safe. I use a double leash technique combined with a hand wrap to ensure no jailbreaks occur! I prefer to keep Fido on a leash at all times, so when we can find a park to play in, I use a 30-foot play leash to make sure there is plenty of room for fetch. I also make sure that I stick to your schedule as closely as possible to make sure your baby is comfortable.

I would need to know any special needs or quirks your pet may have as well as any triggers that may make them uncomfortable or scared. Any instructions for special care that your animal may need, I need, so I can provide the best service possible. Also, I would need to know if your pet has any allergies to food so I can make sure I have appropriate treats on hand.
A typical day
There are no typical days! Every day is an adventure and every pet is different. I build the visits around your pet, what they enjoy, and any additional enrichment they may need. We can play in the yard, go on a walk, cats can play with a mouse on a string (or doggies too!), or we can just sit together and snuggle. Each session is catered to YOUR pet.

I’m currently working part-time in the restaurant business but I am available before and after work to drop by and hang out with your animals! I’m available occasionally to house sit once well-established as a client provided my schedule allows. We can talk about it!
