Hello! My name is Mia and I've been caring for dogs since childhood. I've of course always had dogs, but I've also volunteered at shelters and have excellent reviews for transporting many dogs all around the country. I am experienced with all sizes of dogs as I have personally had a chihuahua, miniature dachshund, lab, and Great Dane. I am also experienced with special needs pets having administered countless pills, cared for aging pets and transported injured dogs, I am totally here for the high maintenance or "spoiled" pets in your life! I am also happy to care for a wide variety of pets and experienced with cats and rodents in particular. I walk and run regularly and would love to share my outings with your dogs! As a former homeowner who opened my home to travelers I fully understand the trust placed in me when pet sitting at your home and will treat your place with the same respect I ask for. When caring for your pet I'm able to structure my schedule around their needs and can accommodate any routines they have (with the exception that I am a morning runner rather than an evening), I understand the importance of continuity in managing their stress levels. I currently have no pets (that's why I need to spend time with yours!) and I do have a fenced yard though it is not tidy enough to be appropriate for dogs to be left alone in, just as when watching pets in their own home I choose to keep a constant line of site on them indoors or out. Every dog is different and each dog will behave differently with different people or in different environments, I prefer to be overcautious. Pets are allowed on our furniture, but if this is contrary to your rules at home I will maintain your standard for them so as not to confuse.
