I grew up near Yosemite and my family always had animals. Throughout my life I have had several cats, dogs, various reptiles, goats, horses, birds, and even a tarantula named twinkle toes. Last year I lost my Nikita after 15 years of love and companionship. Honestly my family has been on me about getting another dog but I have yet to make that bond. Maybe that's the main reason I logged into this site because I love being around pets but I'm reluctant to take one home, this way I get the best of both worlds. I am confident working with both puppies and older pets. I can administer medications to both cats and dogs. As long as your pup is comfortable being around kiddos they are welcome in my home. If your pet is not comfortable with loud noises or children then I would prefer to watch them in their own environment. I am familiar with assertive commands if needed (Mostly with pups in training) and I have a soft touch and understanding for the care for older dogs. I know how much we love our pets and I will take care of yours with the same care and love as I have always done with my own.
