Pet care experience
I have owned dogs since I was a little girl. My mom used to breed dogs and I would help to take care of the puppies. I also was in charge of taking care of the mom and dad dogs. I helped bottle fed there babies and keep them warm. I would go with my mom to the vet as well. I took the parents for walks, bathed them and cleaned up after them. I really love dogs and so do my 4 boys! I have owned dogs as an adult but don't currently have one. I would love to have a dog now, but we can't so there next best thing is taking care of your dog! My boys are ready to play with your dog very soon! I also one 3 cats who are fine with dogs :) **My house is a bit messy if that sort of thing bothers you**

Mia went above and beyond when it wasn’t required of her. My travel plans changed after I got violently ill and was forced to delay my flight home. Mia, when asked by me to extend the reservation until I could get on a plane home, agreed to extend my boarding. And, once I returned to pick up Uma, she was as excited to see me as she’d ever been as a result of the level of care Mia and her family provided us while I was away. I highly recommend Mia for any care you are seeking for your dog. She was outstanding and Uma loved the stay.
Mia accepted my booking hours before and graciously accepted my last minute booking. Mia integrated Stella with the other dogs and sent photos of dogs playing. Stella had a great time at Mia's. I recommend her highly.
Rocco quickly felt comfortable and played well with other doggies. We were very happy and if we travel thru Santa Rosa again for an event - we'll be back! Thank you Mia and family!

I have a fenced yard and locks on my doors. I have plenty of room for the dogs to play in the backyard. We usually have tennis balls lying around to throw for the dogs.

I don't really have any special requirements for them. I just want to make sure that they will be good with my kids, won't try to hurt my cats (chasing a little is ok) and if they get along with other dogs, because I usually have more that one at a time.
A typical day
We have a great neighborhood for walking as well as a trail within walking distance from our home. My kids also love to throw balls with dogs.
