Hi, I'm Mia! I've been a Rover sitter since I moved to Austin three years ago. I love dogs, but travel a lot and don't want to commit to one of my own. So as a compromise, I watch other people's dogs! I love that being a dog sitter gives me my dog fix, while also helping out an owner by giving them peace of mind that their dog is being taken care of while they're away. I identify as a dog aunt - when dogs are in my care, I treat them as my own. I have a lot of repeat clients, I think because they can tell their dogs are well cared for when they're with me. Mia was available on short notice and was flexible about time and pick up. It was clear Freddie was comfortable at her place by the time I picked him up. Would book with her again!
Mia was great with my dog, Frank. He was in great spirits when I picked him up & got plenty of exercise while I was gone. Mia communicated well & flagged me when she had a concern about Frank not eating. Would recommend her to watch your dog.

I only watch one dog at a time (unless they're from the same family). I also don't interact with neighborhood dogs while walking a dog under our care unless the owner says they're dog friendly. I don't bring dogs to dog parks or off-leash unless the owner expressly asks me to.

Please let me know if they have a tendency to cry or make noise at night- I’m a very light sleeper and so it may not be a good fit. Please also let me know about allergies, feeding schedule, sleep preferences (in crate, in bedroom, outside bedroom), and whether they’re allowed on furniture or not.
A typical day
I love to go on walks around the neighborhood. Since I work from home I like to have a furry buddy to take work breaks with.

Availability
Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule to take dogs out at least twice a day, and more upon request. I live off Barton Springs Road, and like to take dogs to the lake trail or to the nearby baseball field.
