I'm an energetic and friendly person who loves all types of dogs. I would gladly assist you with walking, playing, and giving your doggy the cuddles he or she may need while you are away. I understand each dog has its own personality and special way of communicating. I'm flexible and patient with giving dogs the time they may need to feel comfortable around new people. I have experience dog-sitting small & extra large doggies, velcro doggies that become your shadow, and those doggies that as long as you are within eye view they prefer to sleep in their crate all day. Why I love dog sitting: Growing up we always had a family dog and they varied from poodles to pit bulls. I learned how to care and respect them as a young child. My experience administering medication: Yes, I'm comfortable giving oral medication. I usually hide it in their food, wrapped in cheese, or with a treat. What Metztli would like to know about your dog: I would like to know if they have any health restrictions and if they are taking medication. It would be helpful to know if the doggy gets separation anxiety and their preferred method to soothe/ calm them down. I have a weak spot for larger breeds like Pit Bulls, Huskies, and German Shepherds. When Metztli watches your pet: I'm flexible and can spend as much time as your dog needs. I know that some dogs are more independent and that others need more playing/petting. Extra house-sitting services Yes, I'm not above bringing in the trash can or newspaper. I don't have a green thumb so I would need guidance to water plants.
