Hi folks! Met and David here. We are a couple of animal lovers that live in the east Bremerton area. David works remotely and Met is unemployed at the moment. We have a daughter, but she is on a separate floor at all times, so will have no interaction with your pet. We love to be outside after work and on weekends. We would love the opportunity to care for your good beasts! Met has cared for animals through Rover since 2013 when Henry was first adopted as Rover provided a great way for Henry to socialize and find companionship in fellow canine friends. She also has cared for many cats, fish, and even a rat! Please inquire about different animals as well. David has lived with and cared for dogs at different times throughout his life and is very familiar with canine care. Our Henry has since passed in July of 2023. We miss him everyday! :( We promote a very calming environment for animals. We adhere to a solid routine of exercise and play, so pups know what to expect and when which has worked out really well for us. This usually looks like: a really long (about an hour) morning walk, bathroom breaks throughout the day, another walk or play in the yard before dinner, and another walk or bathroom break before bed. Pups can also work on enrichment activities throughout the day (puzzles, shredding paper, food games, etc.). This will vary depending on what your individual pup needs. We believe tired pups are happy pups. We have many different kinds of treats (generally grain-free and chicken-free) and are happy to share them with your pup if you allow. For drop-ins, we serve clients within a half mile radius, but can travel more than a mile for a small fee. Senior Dogs | We’re very familiar with senior dog care and can administer medication on even the most intricate schedules. Our Henry had issues with incontinence and mobility, so we have compassion for and are familiar with cleaning and care for our old canine friends. Expect a lot of photos while you’re away :)
