I have been a dog lover and dog owner all my life, and worked as an animal behavior consultant and dog trainer for a large urban SPCA when I was younger. I have been caring for dogs in my home for about four years. I love all my guests, but specialize in needy dogs and elderly dogs. I work from home and so does my husband so our dog guests get lots and lots of attention, which is really important for the needy and anxious dogs and for the elderly sweethearts. We have a great home for dog sitting-- a dog door lets the dogs go out to the our fenced-in yard whenever they like, I also enjoy taking guests for a walk down to our neighborhood park, which is full of fascinating scents. I only take two, sometimes three dogs at a time, so each dog guest gets lots of individualized attention and admiration. Many of my dog guests' parents have said their dog acts like they are coming to a vacation spa when they come to our house. I just feel lucky to have so many good friends! Meet my pets Tazz is a male Australian Shepherd who happily welcomes all our dog guests and is willing to play with anyone. We also have a large, easy-going Maine Coon cat who doesn't seem to notice or react to our dog guests.
