Pet care experience
As a California native I have been around dogs and cats my entire life and love animals! My family owned a Doberman as a child & when it passed away we adopted a stray poodle from the shelter. I now own two kitties that are the loves of my life!! I am queer & always try to provide a safe and nurturing experience for the clients, the animals and myself. I believe Black Lives Matter, Free Palestine & I stand with Ukraine. Please do not hire me if our values do not align.

Meryl was absolutely fantastic! She was very professional, showed up at the time she said she would and provided updates throughout her stay while checking up on our fur baby Pops. This is the first time we have hired a cat sitter and Meryl was great. She provided us with a list of questions to assist with Pop's care and she sent us lots of videos and pictures, which we appreciated. We missed our fur baby and having the regular pictures, videos and updates made us feel better knowing he was in good hands with Meryl. Meryl gave our kitty lots of love and cuddles. He definitely had a great time with Meryl and we would definitely use her services again.

I love to make sure your dogs are energized and well walked! Love to play ball with them as well. Dogs or cats (or any other animals) will always receive maximum love and attention from me!

I have been working for Rover since 2017 & have cared for many animals in various places including in Long Beach, Washington DC, San Diego and Sacramento, including large dogs, small dogs, dogs with health issues (blindness, walking support, etc), puppies and cats! I am currently based in Downtown Sacramento and although I took a break from Rover during quarantine, I am ready to get back to work for YOU!
