I have been an animal lover my entire life. I grew up up with indoor dogs - labs, goldens, and toy poodles. We also had cats, birds, fish and hamsters. My grandfather owned a farm and I was allowed to feed the chickens and cows, so my love for all creatures was ingrained at an early age. The love of my life was a beautiful 13 year old Golden Retriever, who I adopted at a year and a half. He had a deformed shoulder so we only took short walks, but went swimming for exercise and we went for lots of car rides! His happiness was my happiness. I am sorry to say that I lost my sweet boy to cancer at the end of November. A little over a month after, while helping a fellow foster mom, I fell in love with a little girl that had been abandoned with her brothers, sisters and mother. We bonded quickly and my husband and I decided to adopt her. Her name is now Maisie, and we are learning how to be the best puppy parents we can be, brushing up on all little girl training needs :). I love all pups, young and senior. Looking forward to meeting you and your best friend soon!
