Pet care experience
I have experience working with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and special needs. I also have experience administrating oral and injection type medications. Ever since I was little, I’ve grown up around animals of all sizes and absolutely love working with them! I just graduated from Augustana with a degree in biology and a pre-veterinarian program. I also work as a veterinary assistant. I was a student-athlete all 4 years so I live a very active lifestyle. Hyper dogs are no problem for me! I am a quick learner, very hard working, patient, and strong for my size. I am tidy, organized, and have good communication skills. If you are in need of a pet sitter, I can come to your house to watch your pets! I would just like to know their feeding schedule and any special/quirky qualities :)

This was the second time Merriam stayed out our house for a week to watch our two cats and dog. She is simply amazing. We go on vacation knowing everything is safe and our pets are loved. Not only with our pets but our house.

I currently can’t have pets in my home as my roommate has 2 cats of her own. But in your home, I always make sure a fenced in area is secure before letting your pet out and always exit assuming your pet is a door dasher ;).

I really don’t mind the breed or size of the dog is, I would just like to know in advance any special qualities. Special qualities such as dietary needs, walking preferences, and just their typical food schedule!
A typical day
I love to be active and keep your pet stimulated! Weather permitting, I’ll take them on a walk at least once a day and work on commands. I love training pets to learn new things so if you need something worked on, just let me know!

I currently work a part time job from 3-6:30 so I’ll be hanging out with your pet(s) for most of the day! If I have something else going on that week, I’ll communicate that with you ahead of time.
