Pet care experience
My family has always had pets. Now that I live away from home, I miss them terribly. I’ve had at least one dog and one cat my entire life. I always took the lead on training our new puppies, and my current dog Bunny knows how to sit, lay down, stay, wait, leave it, heel, shake, high-five, play dead, and rollover! I even managed to get our cat Frieda how to come when called. When I got older, we got horses and chickens, and I have ridden for ten years or so. I have never met an animal that I can’t get to love me, or at least listen to me. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes, reptiles, fish, plants, horses, chickens, bees (they do need care) and birds. This app is only for your average pooch, but I’m ready for anything!!

Meriwether helped me out when I needed a dog walker last minute due to my terrible planning skills. She was very communicative and asked all the right questions about my dog and was patient with his mediocre leash skills and willing to enforce some of his training/boundaries we've been working on. I'll definitely be booking her again if she's available next time I need a dog walker.
Meriwether is really sweet and I’m grateful when she’s able help take care of our boy.

I love all dogs. I have no prejudices against larger dogs like pit bulls and have had both big and small dogs in the past. I would prefer dogs that are leash trained to some degree, but I can handle pulling since my family has had some really energetic animals.
A typical day
More than anything, I just love spending time with animals. Of course I will get them their exercise, but when pet sitting, I love to bring a book or some work and just hang out and keep them company.

I currently work part time with most of my shifts occurring on weekends. Still feel free to reach out for pet sitting for any time, but I am most available during the beginning of the week.
