Pet care experience
Hi I’m Merike! I’m a student at Ryerson University and have a a few days off during the week as well as open weekends where I would love to help you out with your furry loved ones! I have always had a wide array of pets in my home, and we treat them like family. Currently I have a 7 year old Australian shepherd named Pippa and a kitten named Roo. They are both great with other animals as my sisters bring pets to visit often. We have a big backyard where dogs can roam free within a fenced area, and I love to bring our dogs to nearby trails and parks. I also have had experience with aging pets that need a little extra help, as we had a beagle that lived until the ripe age of 16. Merike would be an amazing fit to take care of any furry friend! Merike’s pets have always been integrated into her everyday life in as many ways as possible. It has always been easy to see that her and her entire family treat their pets as their friends, taking on responsibility further than just feeding, watering and walking but putting in hours of training and just plain quality time with their animals. Your pets would be in more than adequate hands with Merike!
You can tell right away that Merike loves animals, and that they love her. We've had her look after our 1 1/2 year old doberman many times since she was a puppy. What sets her apart from others is that she treats our baby like she's her own. Your dog will be well cared for and get lots of attention :) Highly recommended.

A typical day
I love to give lots of cuddles, teach tricks and go on long walks with fetch in the park! Bringing dogs to Puslinch tract trail and riverside park is one of my favourite activities, especially if you love to let your dog have a good off leash run! Everyone loves to get pictures and updates of their pets and I am very happy to send lots of photos and videos as often as you like!
