Your dog will be part of my family!

Pet care experience

My name is Meridith. I work as an RN at a home care agency. I volunteer at my local animal shelter. I have 2 rescue dogs: Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix named Little Rosey and a Dachshund named Maddie. I also have 2 rescue cats. I love dogs mainly and my husband loves cats. My husband usually helps me take care of the dogs/cats on the weekends when I can't go there. If you're willing to have both of us take care of your animals, we are a great team and you'll be very happy with us! About this sitter: I'm CPR and first aid certified. I love dogs, and I'll make your dogs a part of my family if you pick me to watch them! Your dogs will love me and trust me! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile! Why I love dog sitting I have always loved dogs the most, but I do love all animals. I've had many dogs growing up. I rescued my first dog a few years ago (2008), but she passed away in July 2016, and my second rescue dog, I rescued in the summer (2013). I just rescued my new dog Tootsie on November 28, 2017. Meet my pets 2 small dogs and 2 cats

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Meridith exceeded my expectations, with how she loved on our 4- legged family member. I could not ask for more.

This was the first time with Rover and a drop in pet sitter for our old kitty. Things went well. Instructions were followed well, I got text messages with photos of kitty, and we felt our pet and home were safe and sound. We’ll definitely use her again!

Information Meridith P. would like to know about your pet

Are they friendly with other dogs? Are they trained, like if there was a pad in my house, would they use the pad if I were out of my house for 4 hours. I usually take out my dogs every 2-3 hours, but if I were out longer, I put a pee pee pad down. What kind of food do you give them? Are they not allowed some type of food? (My dog can't have human food, especially chicken.) Any medications or eye drops I need to give them?

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks Around the block. My block has no outlet, so you have to go out the way you come in, and I take my girls walking around my block a couple times. Your dog's sleeping arrangement I have my dogs sleep in the room with us. All of the beds are next to my bed. My 1 dog sleeps on the floor in her bed and the other dog sleeps in the bed with my husband and I. Time I'll spend with your dog I usually work M-F 8am-4pm. I take the dogs out before I leave. My husband sometimes works from home, but if not, he'll take the dogs out before he leaves, which is around 11am. I take my girls out every 2-3 hours when I'm home. At night, my husband and I go for a walk. Before I go to bed, I take my dogs out again. My husband doesn't go to bed until 3-4am so he takes the girls out 1-2 times during the night. It will be the same schedule for your dogs! Time I'll spend with your dog I take my dogs out every 2-3 hours every day. If I have to leave for work, I'll take the dogs out before I leave. My husband leaves for work around 11am so he would take the dogs out before he leaves. I'd spend the rest of the day with the dogs. That's how I do it at home! Extra house-sitting services Yes! I'll bring in the mail, water plants, etc. I charge just a little more when your dog comes to my house because some dogs like to leave messes, where I'm either constantly cleaning the mess up, or not. If you don't like the prices, we can work out something you may be able to afford, or I could come down in price for you. I'm very flexible. I don't consider this as a job because I love dogs so much, and I enjoy doing this.
