Hi! I'm a native Iowan and dog lover. I have had and taken care of 4 of my own dogs over the years, but don't have any right now. I'm currently a foster with a local rescue group, which has given me more experience with different dog breeds. I work from home doing freelance online work and have flexible availability in general. I always want you and your dog to be happy with the care I give. I totally understand that your dog is part of your family and I will treat them like one of my own. We have a nice size fenced in back yard that the doggies can run around, but I can also give a good little walk around the block. Otherwise we'll probably just watch some Netflix and chill around the house together.

Our pup had a fabulous stay at Meredith’s house! Meredith was great - she responded to messages quickly & sent plenty of messages and pics to let us know how our puppy was getting along without us. She has a spacious fenced in yard for pets to run and play. Our dog seemed very comfortable and happy there. Would definitely book with her again!
Meredith has cared for my senior dog on several occasions. She is so caring and aware of her needs and I feel very lucky to have her taking care of my fur baby! Meredith spoiled her with lots of love and attention. She has a special place in her heart for our babies and will take excellent care of them!

I have experience with small up to large dog breeds. To me the size doesn't matter so much as the personality, I prefer laid back doggies. I live in a cottage type house so I find that smaller dogs or larger ones that aren't super energetic are the best for me. A.k.a. my house isn't huge, but there is enough room for that type of dog to stretch their legs and explore.
A typical day
We can walk around the neighborhood, go on a car ride, walk on a park trail, go to the pet store and get a treat, play in the yard, and of course they'll get lots of cuddles and belly rubs!
