I am an active dog sitter with many years of paid experience! My family and I work with a volunteer-based dog rescue group here in Madison, Wisconsin and we have fostered many dogs over the course of a few years, and have been dog owners for 18 years. I have experience taking care of multiple puppies (aged from a few weeks to 1 year), middle-aged dogs, and senior dogs. Some of the dogs I've cared for have had mild behavioral concerns, need medication, or require help with learning basic commands/becoming house trained, so I am very comfortable working with dogs that have extra needs such as those. I can walk multiple dogs at once if necessary, and even do multiple walks a day at different lengths. If there are nearby dog parks or walking trails I will definitely take advantage of those if the owners are comfortable with it. For drop-in visits I will make sure to play with your dog and spend some quality time after feeding, brushing, etc. I hope that you will consider hiring me to take care of your four-legged family member!
