Pet care experience
I am a veterinary technician and dog yoga instructor with decades of experience with dogs (and cats and horses). I am Red Cross pet CPR and First Aid certified, Fear Free handling certified in understanding stress free techniques in various situations, and RECOVER rescuer certified in advanced life support. I also have experience with basic grooming and water safety training and love to take dogs on outdoor adventures- hiking, kayaking, yoga, and more. I love animals. I work with them, study them, and still spend nearly all my free time with them. I would love to care for your beloved fur children while you're away. I am a 10 year Army veteran with a federal security clearance and excellent personal references. So I can be trusted with your pet and your home.

Information Meredith S. would like to know about your pet
I require up to date vaccinations (or waivers) for all clients' animals. If you would like me to take your dog to parks or daycare, they must be spayed/neutered. Otherwise, I will insist they remain on a leash when out of the home. All pets must have proper identification and reliable emergency contact information. It is hurricane season. We will come up with a solid plan together before you travel in case of evacuation.
A typical day
I base my sitting style on your (and your pets') preferences and individual needs but I love to explore new neighborhoods and take dogs on hikes, kayak rides, and other fun activities. I am a dog yoga instructor and will probably try to get your pup to like yoga if you let me.

I have a very flexible schedule since finishing school and am currently in charge of my own business hours teaching dog yoga. I am available for drop in visits and walks throughout the week and generally schedule vacations far in advance.
