Meredith has cared for our pets with love and devotion even as a small child. She has a lot of compassion and empathy. She loves to walk our dogs to give them exercise each day. In 2017, unbeknownst to us, one of our dogs had an infected tooth that caused his cheek to swell. Late one night, while my husband and I slept, Meredith was up with Louis, our dog, doing her homework. His cheek burst from the infection while he was pawing at it. Meredith calmly cleaned him and comforted him and cared for him during the night. She told us what happened in the morning and we immediately brought him to the veterinarian. I was so impressed that she cared for him all night by herself while only 17 years old (at that time). Our veterinarian was also impressed that she attended to the wound so well.
