My name is Meredith! I am a full time DOG LOVER, full time anesthesia student and part time nurse. I have a 2 year old labradoodle who loves to play and is great with other dogs. I have experience with boarding and walking both large and small dogs, as well as young puppies. My own dog loves to play, so if your dog gets along with others, we love to have play dates and go on long walks. I relied on Rover as a travel nurse to help take care of my own dog, and now I’m excited to give back and help you with your best friend! My schedule is pretty flexible right now, so please message me with questions and I’d be happy to make something work for the both of us.

Meredith is the epitome of a dog lover! She has been one of our best dog sitters when we go out of town, sharing pictures and updates with us throughout the day! She always is considerate of our instructions and feeds and treats them in accordance with the daily routine we have in place. She loves to walk and hike with her own dog Norman, and has travelled with him across the country multiple times! She has a lot of experience with other breeds of dogs big and small. There isn't a problem with an animal's behavior that she doesn't have experience correcting. Meredith is the perfect candidate for a Rover team member, and I would trust her with anyone's fur member of the family.
I highly recommend Meredith for your dog sitting/ walking/ whatever needs! She has watched my two high energy dogs (Pit mix and Goldendoodle) on multiple occasions and always goes out of her way to make sure both the owners and pets are happy. It says a lot when her own dog, Norman, is very well trained and plays well with all types of animals. From quick walks to long hours to days of watching my pups she ALWAYS exceeds my expectations. I live in a neighborhood with lots of dog friendly residents, safe sidewalks, and a large field in which my own dog loves to run and play fetch in. I am conveniently located near downtown Columbus in Grandview. My dog is my best friend, and I know how important our pets are to us dog people. I am committed to keeping your dog safe and helping with whatever you need- overnight boarding, walking, or potty breaks while you are away from home.

Information Meredith L. would like to know about your pet
I need to know if your dog plays well with other dogs, which is a requirement for overnight care and doggy daycare, as I do have my own dog at home. I also require a meet & greet with my dog prior to overnight boarding so I can make sure both your and my pet will get along and play safely. I can however, walk your dog or come take care of them in your own home if they do not get along with other dogs. I also need to know if they are crate dependent or not for overnight care, my dog is crate trained for moments when I am away from home. I can accommodate for both crate and non-crate trained friends.
A typical day
Norman and I love to go on long walks so I’m happy to take your dog with us, or walk them separately! During the day Norm and I love to play fetch, puzzle treat games, and other stimulating activities. I am happy to provide bathing and grooming, although I do not clip nails at this current time. I can administer medications to dogs safely, feed them throughout the day, and work on basic training with them as well.

Availability
I’m a full time graduate student. Right now, I am unavailable Monday- Wednesday during the week for dog boarding or daycare, but I’m free in the evenings and the rest of the week to take your best friend on walks, play dates, or watch them overnight or over a long weekend.
