Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting since 2011. I worked at a professional pet sitting company called Alpha Pet Care in Long Beach, Ca. I subsequently started pet sitting privately while I was also working full-time at a medical office. I lived in Asheville for 2 years and while living there, I decided to join Rover to assist me in finding people who need sitting for their pets. I am now back in California where I want to continue pet sitting. I love animals more than anything! I have one small senior rat terrier. So if you’re interested in pet boarding your pet will bunk up with my dog, Fred. I am available mornings, evenings, and all day on the weekends and holidays.I can also do a 30 minute walk during the week on my lunch break. If I do an overnight visit on a weekday, I can come to your house in the evening and feed and walk your dog. I will leave the next morning at 730 am. I can also provide an extra mid day walk during my lunch break. I look forward to hearing from you!

Meredith was a huge help to us. We were traveling & at the end of a long & exhausting trip & were coming into Asheville for the night. She was the first to respond & we were originally going to have her come to our hotel but thought it would be better at her place since she has a dog. We ran late & there were so many changes & she just rolled with it. She also dropped our dog at out hotel for us which was a huge help after getting back to dinner & not having to go back out. I would highly recommend!
Meredith was so awesome, my animals love her!! I have 4 dogs, 1 cat, 6 fish and a donkey and she was wonderful with all of them. She is a very compassionate person and it is very obvious that she adores animals. I would highly recommend her if you are in search of someone to love and take care of your animals as much as you do!
We were vacationing in Asheville for 6 weeks this summer with our two Cockapoo "twin" dogs, Dude and Diva. I was so fortunate to find Meredith to be my walker for the whole time we were there, 7 nights a week. The dogs took right to her as she did them. She was always prompt and also pet sat for us when we went out to dinner (as our lease said the dogs were not to be left alone in our rental home). She is a kind, loving person and we hit it off immediately with that first interview. She knows how to handle dogs, and besides "productive" walks she exercises them as well and was very careful with Dude who was healing from an ACL repair. She also played with them when sitting, and gave them lots of love. I would not hesitate to recommend Meredith to be your K9 Nanny/walker and you can feel free to contact me anytime. We all miss her.
Meredith was an amazing sitter! I could not have asked for a better experience for not only myself but my pets. I tend to stress and worry about my pets anytime I have to leave them and Meredith eased my worries 110%. She was always very prompt and kept me well informed about my pets the entire time. I asked a great deal of Meredith and she surpassed my expectations. I have two massive labs age 4 and 2 who can be a huge handful on occasion as they get very excited. She was able to walk them with ease and they absolutely loved her. One of my labs requires daily medication on a very strict schedule because of epilepsy. Meredith was able to administer her medication with no issues and keep her on her schedule. Not only that she was able to also take great care of two cats. One being born a feral cat is very picky with strangers yet warmed right up to Meredith with no issues. Did I mention I also have a large bearded dragon. She was able to feed him and keep up with the cleaning of his tank. Last but no least she was able to maintain a very large SALT WATER AQUARIUM! Which required not only feedings but keeping a close eye on water levels and testing the elements in the water to maintain a safe environment. Point blank she is amazing. We have a small zoo and she ran it to Perfection. Everyone was happy and healthy when I returned home. I will "FUR"EVER be using Meredith for my sitting needs. Meredith was well worth her price if not more. Thanks again for everythingMeredith!

I do not have breed preferences unless I am pet boarding. My dog prefers smaller dogs and because he is old he can’t really handle puppies for a long period of time :)
A typical day
I am very active and I am always taking dogs on adventures. I will walk (or if you prefer) I enjoy running too. I like to take dogs on long walks as well as a lot of playtime and affection.
