Pet care experience
I am a very active person who absolutely loves animals. I grew up taking care of two large dogs and two cats at home and have lots of experience volunteering at humane societies. I’ve also pet sat for others quite a bit so I am seasoned with all sorts of different pet situations. I’m great with energetic and playful dogs and cats and live very close to a few parks to make sure they get enough playtime in! I’m very capable of caring for all breeds/temperaments of dogs and cats but of course would appreciate a heads up about anything I should know. Meredith is a major dog lover. She often takes care of my 2 year old rescue pup Ramona. I always feel very comfortable leaving her with Meredith, she's responsible, loving and attentive to any dog she cares for. Ramona has some anxieties around people, but Meredith is one of very few people that she is extremely excited to see and trusts, which gives me huge peace of mind when I drop her off. Meredith takes her on long walks and gives her lots of quality attention. Meredith is super easy to work with and receptive of any needs I have for Ramona (such as training that I'm trying to work on, etc.). All in all Meredith is a wonderful choice to watch your doggos!
Meredith took great care of my kittens while I was traveling for work. They warmed to her right away even though they're normally shy.
Meredith was great! She sent pictures to update us on Charlie, and it was good to know he was doing well.

A typical day
My apartment is located in Adams Morgan, which is conveniently located very close to many parks. My neighborhood is quiet with lots of green space and is perfect for going on walks. I live very close to multiple large fields with plenty of space to run and play - and socialize with other dogs. I also live nearby part of Rock Creek Park, another nice location to go for walks.
