We love your dog as much as you do!

Pet care experience

I’m Meredith! I decided to start dog walking, boarding and training after realizing that dog owners could be in the same boat that I was in years ago: stressed and unconfident. My dogs and I had a poor foundation and lacked a bond. Throughout the past 6 years in the training industry, I have learned how to create stronger relationships with my current dogs and clients’ dogs. I hope that I get the chance to help you form a more solid and fun connection with your dog. In 2016, I officially started working with dogs. I worked at various dog daycare centers and slowly learned more about dog training structure, dog behavior, and how to build a relationship with a dog. During the time I worked at the dog daycare structured by Chad Makin, I was introduced to the proper training tools and education that came with them. I gained hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and behavioral issues. I began working at Unleashed Pet Rescue in 2020, where I received copious amounts of firsthand knowledge. My experience comes from fostering behavioral issue dogs that had backgrounds ranging from bite records, dog aggression, fear aggression, and reactivity to later helping customers find a new family friend. Being an adoption counselor is my inspiration to start the service Rescue Me! – to help place a dog in the best home possible. My personal dogs were a huge start to my training journey as well! Pretzel and I had to work diligently to form a new relationship and to help work on her reactivity. We currently are training for dock diving and disc trick training. Banshee is my service dog, who I’ve raised since she was 8 weeks old. I was able to apply my experience to her training and now Banshee is a well-rounded service dog. I have also taken various classes from Michael Ellis, such as: · Teaching Engagement and Relationship Building · Obedience Training · Everyday Management I’m also looking to expand my education to better myself. I look forward to being able to meet you and your pup!

Meredith was easy to deal with, very relaxed around our dog (which makes him calm), and she sent pics and videos so that we could see he was well cared for. We'd recommend her to anyone and we'll use her again.

Meredith was so helpful with our two cats and took great care of them. While I was away she sent a lot of photos and followed all care instructions and was thoughtful about letting me know things like when it was going to be hot in Boston so she could ask whether I wanted her to leave the AC on. We really appreciated her!

Meridith walked our dag a few times this past week while we were out of town. She was reliable and flexible, and our dog enjoyed Meridith's company.

Meredith is an animal lover and would do anything for a dog whether that is helping it when in need, playing with the dog and being active with them or simply snuggling with them! She is very responsible and reliable! Meredith has great work ethic and with this job being with dogs she is the perfect fit!

A typical day

Private Walks are a great way for your dog to enjoy the outdoors alone. Your dog can enjoy their regular walking route or we can even change it up! They are free to explore, sniff, and pee on everything! For boarding your dog will be treated as part of our family. Throughout the day, your dog will be able to relax on the furniture, play with other dogs, be provided enrichment, come along on hikes and walks, enjoy fresh air on a patio deck, and sleep peacefully in their crates at night. We will also rotate dogs to sleep on the bed at night!

My routine is different everyday. I will wake up, take the dogs on a short 15-20 morning potty break and feed breakfast! Depending on my schedule we will do enrichment, hangout on the couch, watch tv, go on hikes or walks, or just relax. Your dog will be able to enjoy time with other dogs or alone with just me! Night time, consists of playing, hanging out and feeding dinner. We will follow up by doing some enrichment and listening to calming music while settling in the crates. Potty breaks are between 2-4hr never anything more.
