I have been an animal person my entire life - animals tend to gravitate to me & I to them. I love spending time with all manner of creatures! Looking for additional ways to increase my income I came across an ad for Rover & thought, "How purrrfect!" So here I am! Since the passing of my Jack Russel "Neo" of 15 years I was feeling the void his passing left behind. I thought I could share my love of pups with the people around me by helping to care for their fur children! I come from a family that includes & has included a miniature dachshund, bloodhound, Irish Wolfhound & a Pembroke Welsh Corgi - so I am familiar with & not intimidated by large breed dogs (or little dogs w/a Napoleon Complex for that matter). I LOVE bully breeds! I love stinky hounds & am not afraid of drool! I also am a self-professed cat lady and am happy to care for cats as well. I also have previous experience working with thoroughbred racehorses that often acted like 1,000lbs puppies. I have found that patience & a calm, gentle demeanor make all the difference when working with creature great & small. In the past I have long term fostered dogs, pet sat for neighbors and friends many times. I consider myself an active person and will take you pet on a walk that won't be just a step outside the door and back. I have patience and like dogs to be able to take their time checking out smells and enjoying being outdoors. My aim is to make new furry friends and maybe make a few extra bucks in the process!
