I worked and volunteered at a rescue and it was the best experience ever. I was able to walk and care for dogs that didn't yet have homes so all the love and affection I gave to them held near and dear for the both of us. It was probably the most exciting thing to hear that a dog that I had cared for had finally been adopted and taken to a forever home where someone could give them unconditional love all the time.
