Their unconditional love and companionship bring me immense joy, and I consider it a privilege to be able to work with them every day. I was reluctant about using Rover to care for Cassie, our Coker Spaniel, but immediately got a response from dog sitter, Mercedes. After several e-mails to address some concerns about Cassie's little escape artist maneuvers, Mercedes assured us that she would pay extra attention to this. All of Mercedes' reviews had been favorable and I could see why; she sent us several reports with pictures addressing how Cassie was getting along in her new environment. Mercedes not only had some treats for Cassie to take home but also included 'Human" treats with a report of Cassie's week long stay. I would highly recommend her services and appreciated all that she did for Cassie and will not hesitate to use her services again. Thank You

Mercedes is a wonderful pet sitter! She is very considerate and flexible. She does everything she can to make the stay easy and comfortable for you and your little pet babies! She even helped one of my dogs when he had an allergic reaction and was feeling very itchy. I highly recommend her services.

Mercedes did a wonderful job taking care of our very newly adopted dogs while we were away. She made sure to send photos every day, and the pups seemed very happy and calm when we came back! I'd highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs! She was awesome!

Mercedes watched my elderly dog at my home while I was on vacation. She was great. She texted me an update on how he was doing along with some nice pictures. I felt so comfortable having her in my home watching my pet. I got home last night to a happy, healthy dog. I would use her again without question.

MY SAFETY PROTOCOLS Raw Feeding: Absolutely happy to handle raw feeders! Meals must be prepped in advance, and stored in the fridge or freezer. All bowls, containers, touched surfaces, etc. will be immediately washed with hot water and soap. GDV (Bloat) Risk and Exercise: Best practice is to not exercise prior to or after eating. For this reason, your pet will not be given any heavy exercise during visits that require feeding.  Weather and Exercise: I do not heavy exercise dogs in temperatures above 90 degrees if there is no access to shade and it is not overcast. Dogs will not be walked on pavement if the pavement is determined to be too hot for their paws to safely handle, unless the dog has been trained to wear boots, and those boots have been made available for us to utilize. Alternative exercises could be flirt pole, ball throwing, hide and seek, and/or obedience drills. I do not exercise dogs outdoors if there is thunder, lightning, or the risk of these storms developing.

Information Mercedes T. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know as much as possible about your pets, and I prefer the complete picture including any flaws. In order for me to keep myself and your dog safe, I absolutely need to know if your dog has any reactivity, aggression, or fearful tendencies and I need to know the known triggers for those behaviors. Meet and greets are required.

A typical day

I am open to any activities that your pets usually enjoy. Personally I like doing mini obedience sessions with dogs, but I'm also open to playing tug of war, ball chase, scent games, flirt pole, etc.
