Pet care experience
I grew up in WI with three horses, three dogs, two cats, and a bird so I’ve had my go around on various pet care needs! I’m very good with training basic skills as well, and working with dogs and cats on different commands! I’ve currently got two kitties myself, but enjoy animals of all kinds. Some animals I’ve cared for include, chickens, goats, and tortoises!

Mercedes was great! She agreed to sit for our critters, on very short notice. She sent frequent updates while we were away and took excellent care of them. We would definitely seek Mercedes out again!
Connecting with Mercedes was very easy. We requested fairly last minute and still felt confident about our pet care. We had happy dogs upon return.

We loved having Mercedes stop in and check on our fur babies! She was extremely easy to work with, very communicative, and sent us photos the entire time after every check in. She even went above and beyond and not only let our pup out for potty breaks, but took him on walks around the neighborhood.

A typical day
Being outside is one of my favorite activities! Exploring new local trails, finding new parks, and getting that mental stimulation for your pet is my goal during visits.

Availability
I have a 9-5 job outside of Rover but my love for animals runs deep which is why I find time to still offer care in my neighborhood! I am a morning person so being up for walks/potty breaks between 6-7am (if needed) is no issue for me! On the side I also have my own freelance photography work @portraitswithmercedes where I also am able to connect with the community and learn more about the area! I do travel occasionally but I try to keep my calendar updated here on availability.
