Mercedes has worked closely with me the past 3 years. She has been responsible for the care of my horses and does great with my dog. My dog was a rescue and was kept in a county kennel until almost 9 months of age. Briefly he lived with a foster family before we adopted him, but it was very clear that he had never been socialized. His records indicated that he was previously adopted, but immediately returned because he was too much to handle. Mercedes works very well with our dog, and she has earned his trust. Mercedes' own dog is also a rescue, and she has become a welcomed visitor to our house. Her dog is social and has very good manners. She has also learned cues above the average dog and is always willing and happy to be with Mercedes. The patience and willingness to work carefully with a dog (or horse) has earned Mercedes' the trust of these rescue dogs and our horses as well.
