Melanie does not appear to be the remarkable and experienced dog sitter that she advertises herself to be. I chose Melanie because of these qualities she advertised because I have an anxious little 20 pound Westie. My dog behaved as he does with new people and barked at her during our meet and greet. I was open about his anxiety and behavior. Even let her know that he barks at first but he does warm up. However, on Melanie’s first visit she reported my dog as aggressive because he barked at her as he did during the meet and greet. She left him, discontinued our scheduled drop ins and didn’t even lock my front door on her way out. I have a hard time believing someone as experienced as she claims to be would have such a hard time with a little barking 20 pound Westie. If you have an eager to please golden retriever I’m sure she would be fine. But that doesn’t even take experience.

Melonie is an awesome fur baby sitter! We feel so comfortable leaving our precious Millie with her because we know she will be loved and cared for like one of her own.
