Pet care experience
I grew up with and around dogs in my family, and have been an animal lover since I was little. Since moving out, I've adopted my own fur baby! I am very responsible and detail-oriented, familiar with dog behavior and body language. You can count on me for excellent care. All of my Rover clients receive lots of photos, and I'm more than happy to schedule a meet and greet beforehand!

Melody took amazing care of my dog, Zeke! I got cute photos and I know he was in great hands with her and her sweet dog, Nala. I know he was fed, snuggled, and cared for, he was so happy during his stay! Her home was immaculate, too. She was also flexible about pick-up time, since we got home earlier than we thought. The next time we go on a trip I will 100% use Melody as Zeke’s sitter again!
Melody was great! She helped us out on short notice, and sent lots of great photos. We will definitely be coming back for future puppy sitting!

As someone with a dog that needs certain medications and regimens to maintain its well-being, I don't trust anyone more than Melody for dog-sitting. My own dog is very friendly and playful with all people and other dogs. We have a one bedroom apartment that is already dog-proofed. We go on frequent walks and runs in the neighborhood, and frolick in the dog park, so you can trust that there is ample exercise to be had.

Any extra information you can provide about your dog is much appreciated. I always want any dog to be as comfortable as possible with me and no detail is too small. In particular, it'd be helpful to know about their temperment and any specific likes or dislikes they may have.
A typical day
Each day, I'll take your dog on lots of walks around the scenic lake in my apartment complex. My complex also has a dog park for your dog to run around safely (if you are comfortable with dog parks). Throughout the day, your dog will be treated to lots of love, affection, and play-time, as well as any necessary chill time they need. I'd be happy to practice any tricks with your dog, as well, or administer any meds / paw balm / or other items as necessary.

Availability
I am a high school teacher and have availability in the afternoons, on weekends, and on holidays. In the summer, I am off and have lots of flexibility throughout the week. I live with my boyfriend who's a dog lover through-and-through, so in the mornings and evenings when he's home from work there'll even be two pairs of eyes and sets of hands for watching, playing with, and petting your pooch.
