* Sorry, I do not watch dogs under 2 years old. I've been watching dogs on Rover since January 2012. I own a 3 level townhome with lots of space (no yard). Your pup will have the run of the house. Loved ones are always allowed on the couch or in bed, unless you specific otherwise. I'm a city girl (born and raised in Seattle), but I've have had many pets growing up. Dogs, cats, fish, pot bellied pigs, rabbits, and snakes. I've been watching dogs for my family and friends for about 20 years now.

Our dog had a great week with Melody. We received daily updates and photos and felt very comfortable leaving our dog in her care. We even got a report card when we picked her up, letting us know how she did all week. We will definitely be using Melody again! Thank you!!

Melody is by far the best dog sitter I have ever had before! She treats my dog like it’s her own and that’s what I love about her. I get multiple pictures and updates a day, which makes me feel a lot better when i’m away from my boy. Every time I drop him off with her, his tail is wagging and he sprints to the door!! Definitely will use Melody every time i’m out of town and need a dog sitter.
Melody is wonderful and attentive! I'm so glad I found her to care for my dog. I will definitely use her service again.

I do not have a backyard, this is why I walk dogs at least 4 times per day for 20 minutes at a time. Your pup will always be leashed during outings, and fitted with an Apple tracker (AirTag).

I'm looking for dogs that are well behaved, can respond to commands, house trained, and are current on their shots. Sorry, but I do not watch dogs under 2 years old.
A typical day
During a typical day, we'll take a morning and afternoon walk around the neighborhood or local park. In the evening we may swing by Petco or Mud Bay, just for a change of scenery. We'll take another walk after dinner, then one right before bedtime. Depending on the weather, I may also take your pup to the Millcreek or Edmonds Dog Park. Although we may go to the "dog park" I will not take your pup off leash. Safety is my number one concern.

I work from home, so your pup will be spending the day with me. I usually work in my home office from 10am to 2pm Monday through Friday.
